Last night we had Family Home Evening (I was just telling my gay mormon friend about it) and our lesson was on seeing the positive things in trials and how there are always blessings that come with them that we don’t always see. I talked about my friend who has been positive through her cancer treatment and I taught them the concept of making lemons into lemonade. I found these candy sticks, stuck them in the lemons, and we sucked the juice out. The candy sweetened it just enough, but my son started squeezing large amounts into his mouth. My gay mormon friend cracked up as I imitated his face.

Being a mobile mechanic I find it increasingly difficult not to accept credit card payments for my business. The average sale is around $250 and the call outs I receive are usually from people who require the job done urgently. The reason I have stayed away from accepting credit cards is that I really want to keep my dealings with the bank to a minimum. I believe that they get enough out of me in bank fees every month and I work hard to earn my money. There are more pro’s than con’s for getting a mobile eftpos terminal, or wireless credit card terminal and probably like a lot of people who are reluctant to change, I just need to move with the times and embrace those new bank fees…wish me luck!

I was just talking to some friends the other day about what we are all going to do when it comes to college. All of them are going to a four year school. I told them that I am going to stay here to go to beauty school. They could not believe it, but as soon as I started talking about what I wanted to do, they all started changing their minds. Now, a few of them have applied, and think that is a better idea then doing something they are not sure that they love. It makes more sense to me. 

Day trading is so exciting. I love it so much. I started day trading about 4 years ago after my cousin suggested that I start doing it. I have to admit, I was pretty skeptical at first. My sister shocked me the other day when she revealed that she was currently using some sort of cellulite control cream. At first, I just laughed at her. I thought she was joking. I mean, those creams never really work do they? But, she swears by it and says she has seen a really noticeable difference in the way her legs and belly look. That’s great for her. I am a single mother. I work during the day, and I take care of my son during the night. I have to earn enough money for both of us.
