A Helpful List

Wedding Photography: You know you need it, you know you love it, but where do you begin. In a city that is saturated with high end talent, how do you pick. Here are a few simple rules to help you select and retain your wedding photographer.

1) Look at websites to narrow it down to five you love

2) Begin an email exchange with them all and see who is the most responsive, professional and kind

3) Make appointments to interview these artists

4) Bring a list of questions you know are going to be important and TAKE NOTES

5) A good photographer should email an information packet so that you are informed for your interview, and have research material to hang onto

6) Don’t dawdle! Book your favorite! Waiting too long can make you lose your first choice

7) You get what you pay for. If you’re on a tight budget you won’t get much. SPending more generally gets you higher quality, more training and a photographer with better experience
