Buzz a Failure, Lokcerz Not

I love Google, I really do. Gmail is my primary mail client. I think that Gmail does mail better than Hotmail or yahoo mail could ever hope to. However, their venture into the world of social networking is a failure, at least in my eyes, whereas, the Lockerz move was not. What I am talking about is Buzz. The first point of failure is that it is not a separate site or application. Google buzz is a link that resides underneath my inbox. Even though it is part of my Gmail, I do not remember to take a look at my Buzz. Secondly, the look of it is unimpressive. On Twitter.com, I can change my background. With Buzz, I am looking at ugly boxes on an ugly gray background. Even if buzz was any good, it looks like my friends are just sharing the same info they do on the superior Twitter.
