Patents for Hybrid Seeds
14 March 2010
I live in an agricultural area. New hybrid seeds have seen improved higher yields in crops varying from corn and wheat to certain vegetables. Each new seed requires patents. This may require a little longer time before the actual seed is available to be planted in the ground. However, when the seed does become available, it is good news to the farmers and to the consumers. Work continues on the development of new seeds that resist certain fungi are still in the making. Future patents will be upcoming and future advances in the field of agriculture will continue to make more food for the world.
