I just got off the phone with a really good friend of mine a little while ago. She wanted to know what I have been doing today. I told her that I had not really been doing all that much, that I had spent most of the day surfing the web. She asked me if I had found anything that was interesting. I said that I had been looking up information on John Carlton. She said that she had heard about him and wanted to know what I had found out. I told her that I would send her a link to the site.

All through school I did very well.  In my sophomore year of high school I was told that I would need at least two credits of spanish in order to gain entry to the college of my choice.  I wasn’t overly concerned about it until I started the class.  I found that I had a very difficult time picking up a second language which stunned me.  I naturally assumed I would be able to Learn Spanish Fast as I had done so many other things in life.  Spanish, however, proved to be a difficult language for me to learn although with the help of an online course I was finally able to master it.

On holiday in Zurich (well it was a business trip, but I had a few spare days), I went into a local bank to cash some traveller’s cheques.  The bank looked more like a 4 star hotel lobby than what I’m used to back in the UK.  And to top it off, they had mont blanc pens at each till for signing cheques. 

Overall, I was really impressed by the Swiss.  They really emphasise on quality and service no matter what you want to do.  I’ll certainly be coming back to Switzerland again for a future holiday – for a couple of weeks or so.
