Remove the Pestering Pests – userinit.exe application error

Userinit.exe application error can be very annoying and damaging since it is loaded upon Windows XP bootup. If you have fixed the problem by correcting the registry and the corrupted file, you still have to remove the cause of the problem to prevent any other future errors. This is the most common mistake of error repairs, forgetting to remove the roots of the weeds in the garder. Remove the roots and you wont have the problem again.

The problem is cause by a virus, Trojan or malware. Update your anti-virus and anti-spyware with the latest patch and database, to ensure that you catch the culprit inside your system. Do a full scan in your Windows directory and the rest of your harddrive/s with full fix on errors or viruses.

If it still fails, then this is your last resort. Back up all your important files and device drivers. Please make sure these files are virus-free so you won’t contaminate any other system. Then repair or reinstall your Windows XP. The repair option usually fixes the registry problem since it installs a new registry file, but it doesn’t completely cleanses your system from viruses or spyware. To ensure that our system is free from these pests, you have to reformat and reinstall your Windows XP completely.
