Cupcake Toppings

Coloured sugars and sprinkles are always an enticing and savory topping and it is something youngsters can help with too. Once the cupcakes are iced, pouring the sugars and spatters in separate bowls allows for careful dipping, or not so careful, of the Cupcakes. Another delicious topping can be bigger candies like gum drops or chopped finely up candy bars of varied flavours.

To sort of wake everybody up a bit, adding tastes to frostings is a pleasant way to turn the normal into shocking. Chocolate frosting with some coffee added becomes a scrumptious mocha topping.
