What is a Podiatry Schools

Not including Asia, Eastern Europe and South America podiatry schools are found in most countries of the world.  The extent of preparation to become a podiatrist varies significantly from country to country and this regularly depends on the scope of practice of podiatry in that country. Podiatrists have the greatest scope of practice in the USA, and have the longest period of training they require a 3 year undergraduate degree; a four year podiatry degree and then a 3 year residency. In the scope of practice in some European countries it is not great and the course of training is just a 2 year undergraduate diploma.
