Weddings aren’t Like This Anymore
When my husband proposed to me, I told him that I wanted a traditional wedding. We went to the library and checked out books about old fashioned weddings. We had the ceremony at a one-hundred year old church. The reception was outside with an old fashioned band. The best man speeches were fun and everyone laughed. Some people cried. We danced to old folk songs. We even learned some old fashioned dancing. We had a buffet style dinner with a pig roast and vegetables. We tried to get as close as we could to an old fashioned wedding. It is something that we will never forget.
