Buses from Baroda

The Dal Lake east of the city at the foot of Shridhara (Zabarwan) mountain, is 6 by 3 kilometres from the Buses from Baroda. The lake is divided into Gunibal, Lokutdal, Boddal and Nagin by a series of cause ways. The Lokutdal and the Boddal each have an island in the centre, called Rupa Lank (Silver Island) and Sona Lank (Golden Island). The formers to the south while the latter is to the north of the lake. Rupa Lank is also known as ‘char chinar’ as it has four majestic chinar trees on it. The shankracharya Hill and the Hari Parvat are on the west of the Dal Lake.
